Karen and I had the great pleasure to spend a fascinating and enjoyable journey with Barry Lopez and Conger Beasley Jr. (1940-2016) in the summer of 1991 exploring and scuba diving in the Galapagos Island archipelago. We couldn't have gotten luckier if Darwin had been our guide. We were just married and on our honeymoon. A great adventure through the eco-tour company Inca Floats. Our intimate group spent two weeks exploring both the archipelago and the oceans below. Each night we while we sleep the crew navigated us to the new destination. These guys were both amazing sources of knowledge and a joy travel with. Thank you for memories of a lifetime. We will miss you both as you live in our memories in pictures and your writing.
