We've had the same regular mail carrier for fifteen years. Over that time we have had a chance, here and there to get to know this wonderful person. Our stop is almost last on the route; which means, after the time switch, it's often damn dark, by the time the mail arrives.
My ode to the postal carriers and their flashing lights. Thank you for your service and our mail. Always delighted to see you in the neighborhood or at our post box.
