Imaginary landscapes

My imagination is having great fun imagining new life into old images. I've been busily digitizing many old negatives. Images I'd never gotten the chance to print, proof or enjoy as a full time printmaker, paper maker and collaborator with artists. Blending old and new, what a great way to explore the power of computer editing.
Enjoy the ride. I certainly am, and allergies be damned.

Richard Tullis

Photography has been an important part of my expression since high school.

I spent my youth working in our art studio, workshop, printshop, paper mill, and assisting in extension classes for UCSC.

I ran my fathers west coast printmaking business after college.
In my 30’s I was on my own.
My business model: to continue artist collaborations and pursue my photography.

In 2006 the Santa Barbara studio closed. We moved, Portland, Oregon.

My photographic journey continues.
